The Institute of Phytochemistry of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan was founded in Karaganda under the personal patronage of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev in 1995*. On the personal commission from the Head of State in 2005** the Institute was reorganized into Phytochemistry Research and Production Center JSC, and later in 2009*** into Research and Production Center "Phytochemistry" JSC.
Today, Phytochemistry Center is the leading developer of original medicinal products based on plant materials in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
We conduct a comprehensive development of reference domestic phytopreparations: from the search for biologically active substances, the cultivation and processing of crude drugs, and to the production of pilot batches of new phytopreparations pharmaceutical forms.
