Accreditation of the testing laboratory of JSC “IRPH “Phytochemistry”
The testing laboratory of control and analytical work and physical and chemical research methods of the International Reseach and Production Holding “Phytochemistry” is accredited by the National Accreditation Center of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan for compliance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2015 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”. Accreditation certificate No. KZ.T.10.2433 dated June 14, 2021 valid until June 14, 2026.
Scope of accreditation of the testing laboratory includes physical and chemical tests of the following product names: medicinal plant raw materials;
- essential oils;
- pharmaceutical substances;
- drugs for parenteral use (injections, solutions);
- ointments, gels;
- pills;
- capsules;
- extracts (dry);
- syrups;
- phyto-tea;
- purified water.
The testing laboratory is equipped with modern instruments and measuring instruments from leading world manufacturers, which makes it possible to determine the physico-chemical data and quality indicators of samples at a high technical level and the degree of measurement accuracy. The laboratory is studying the structure of molecules of new natural compounds and their derivatives on a unique NMR spectrometer from “JEOL” company (Japan) with a high resonance frequency of 500 MHz.
At JSC “IRPH “Phytochemistry”, the Republican Bank of Standard Samples of Medicinal Substances was created, containing an information database and samples on 3600 natural compounds and their derivatives. The testing laboratory carries out input and intermediate production control, as well as quality control of finished products using domestic standard samples of medicinal substances.
The employees of the testing laboratory ensure the appropriate level of testing, maintain and improve the quality management system, participate in the development of pharmacopoeial standard samples of drugs.
The testing laboratory has prepared and submitted to the State Pharmacopoeia of the Republic of Kazakhstan 19 new standard samples of medicinal substances, developed at JSC “IRPH “Phytochemistry”.
